Ahmed, you can use TXD Workshop to open and edit.txd files. Seun Akinmolusun, you can use Zmodeler or Autodesk 3Ds Max to open and edit.dff files. But if you want to use 3Ds Max, you have to download GTA Kam's script and put its files into your 3Ds Max' scripts' directory. Hope I was helpful. This is a new txd texture editor for GTA3, Vice City and San andreas. Works for all gta3, vc and SA, supports all txd formats, including compressed, latest version even supports working within img files. Upgraded in 2010 with a brand new DXT compressor/decompressor using libsquish to improve reliability and image quality.

What is a DFF file?
A DFF file contains a three-dimensional model saved in the RenderWare binary stream format. It is used in 3D games that utilize the RenderWare 3 graphics engine, such as the Grand Theft Auto 3 (GTA3) series. DFF files typically store models for humans and vehicles, such as cars, buses, and boats.
You will most likely only encounter DFF files if you are a GTA3 gamer looking to modify the appearance of players and vehicles in the game. You can use Zanoza ZModeler in Windows to alter RenderWare models.
DFF files are organized into multiple sections that describe the geometry and materials that compose the model. Some of the sections in the DFF file are texture, reflection material, model skins, the behavior of breakable objects, and specular lighting material.
NOTE: While DFF files are used to store models for GTA3 games, textures are saved in .TXD archives and animations are stored in .ANM animation files.
